WORKING WITH ANNE

SOMATIC THERAPY

I specialize in a somatic-based approach, helping clients reconnect with their bodies to release stored trauma and emotional tension. By integrating body awareness with mindfulness, I guide clients in recognizing physical sensations linked to past experiences. This approach promotes healing by facilitating a deeper connection to the body, reducing stress, and restoring balance. Through somatic practices, clients can process emotions more effectively and cultivate a greater sense of grounding.

PSYCHODYNAMIC

I use psychodynamic theory to help you explore how past experiences, unconscious thoughts, and unresolved emotions shape your current behaviors and relationships. By bringing awareness to these patterns, we work together to uncover deep-rooted issues, gain insight, and facilitate healing, allowing you to break free from old patterns and create lasting change.

MINDFULNESS-BASED PRACTICE

With over six years of training in spiritual psychology, I integrate mindfulness-based approaches to foster deep self-awareness and healing. By combining mindfulness with a holistic view of the mind, body, and spirit, I guide clients in staying present, processing emotions, and cultivating self-compassion. My approach helps clients reconnect with their true selves, heal past wounds, and develop a more balanced, empowered relationship with their thoughts and emotions.

TRAUMA-FOCUSED

I use trauma-focused theory to help you process and heal from past traumatic experiences. By creating a safe and supportive space, we work through the emotional and physical impacts of trauma, helping you build resilience and regain a sense of safety, control, and empowerment in your life.

BRAINSPOTTING

As a Level 1-trained Brainspotting therapist, I specialize in using this powerful tool to help clients process trauma, anxiety, and emotional blocks. Brainspotting allows us to identify and access unprocessed trauma stored in the brain and body, facilitating deep healing. Through focused eye positions, we can target specific brain areas to release stored emotions, creating lasting relief. My approach combines this technique with mindfulness to promote self-awareness and resilience.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, and other struggles. Together, we work to reframe unhelpful beliefs, develop healthier coping strategies, and create positive, lasting changes in your thinking and behavior.

IN-PERSON THERAPY

I offer in-person therapy sessions in a private, comfortable environment out of my Boulder office location.

TELEHEALTH THERAPY

I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth therapy sessions, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your home for clients in the state of Colorado. Whether in-person or online, I provide the same compassionate care tailored to your unique needs.
