Hello, I’m Anne (Annie)
A compassionate guide on your path to wellness…
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a deep connection to the natural world. Before entering the field of mental health, I worked as a scuba dive master in Honduras and Hawaii, where I witnessed firsthand the delicate balance of ecosystems. This environmental awareness influences my therapeutic approach—I see healing as an interconnected process, where mind, body, and surroundings all play a role in growth and transformation.
With training in Brainspotting I, Somatic Level 1, and nine years of spiritual psychology study, I integrate both evidence-based and holistic approaches to help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. My work is tailored to each person’s unique journey, offering a space for deep self-exploration, healing, and personal empowerment.
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I moved to Colorado in 2019, where I live with my husband, our chocolate lab Kaia, and our black cat Raziel—who often make appearances during telehealth sessions. My approach is warm, intuitive, and deeply personal. I believe that just as nature finds balance and renewal, so can we—given the right tools, support, and space to grow.
MY VALUES
I recognize that healing is a complex, multi-faceted process. I honor the mind-body connection, understanding that our emotions and experiences are not just mental but are often stored in the body. With each session, I create a space where you can explore your feelings, patterns, and past experiences in a way that promotes deep healing and self-awareness. While I may use specific tools and techniques like mindfulness, somatic practices, and Brainspotting, I always center the human experience and ensure that our work is tailored to your unique needs.
